My favourite superhero is Batman, my favourite video games are the Arkham games, so this was really a no brainer! The question is why I didn't do it earlier. Base Body is the DC Direct Arkham Asylum variant that came out with one of the Arkham City waves titled as the Detective Mode version, for some reason. I sliced the figure at the elbow, wrist, waist, knees and ankles (phew!). I then dremeled and inserted Figma and revoltech joints into all articulation points apart from his hips and Knees. I got the hips from a wrestler figure (excellent range of motion) and the double jointed knees came from a ML Moon Knight. Finished him off with a new paint job on his face (which was originally a jaundice yellow, thanks for that DC Direct!) and some touch up areas where I had hollowed the joint areas out. The lower Moon Knight legs were also matched up with the rest of his suit. He was expensive and difficult to make, (the joints and base figure cost a ton!), but I don't care because, quite frankly Having this sculpt with super posability is pretty darn cool! ![]() |
