So I did a DBZ commission a while back for a friend of mine, and had some bits left over. I always loved the articulation of the Figuarts figures, and after seeing LC’s latest stuff I became inspired. I don’t know a lot about the DBZ universe, but from what I’ve learned, it’s pretty rad!

This here is Goku as a Level 4 Super Saiyan. Super Saiyan 4 is a Saiyan transformation present in the anime-only sequel Dragon Ball GT. This transformation is the ultimate combination of both the humanoid Saiyan and the Golden Great Ape. The only way a Saiyan can attain Super Saiyan 4 is if he can already turn Super Saiyan, transforms into a Golden Great Ape, and then regain conscious control over the form. After this form is attained once, it can be accessed at any point.

I took a few “creative liberties” with this guy. Wanted to maintain the bare chested look, but in an armored-up way. Same color scheme, just a bit more bad ass!

Goku was made from Figuarts Goku and Vegeta parts, and a DCUC Cheetah tail. Wrapped up in a custom paint job. Enjoy!
