So I've been on a never-ending quest to find or customize a Catwoman figure I'm satisfied with. I've made it known how I find the basic Marvel Legends and Mattel female figures too skinny most of the time--their arms, legs, and a complete lack of hips. Harley Quinn can be a bit skinny but Catwoman has to have curves! So after a few fits and starts with other figures I returned to the DCD AC figure.

- I painted her grey-black costume a metallic black. Well that's the name on the bottle but she comes out looking a shiny black--more like her comic book counterpart. I went back over the zipper and buckles with a silver marker
- Removed the unmovable goggles and filled the hole in with some putty
- Used the DCD Hush Catwoman goggles. I had to make a few adjustments both to the goggles and the face. Lengthened the strap of the goggles with a piece of rubber so they fit. Painted in a little buckle so it looks better. It's all in the back of the head so it doesn't worry me as much. The goggles don't flush with the cowl on the figure so I took some sculpey to adjust that problem. Now she has removable goggles
- Didn't care for the high heels on the figure but the good news was that they are separate pieces I could boil and pop off and replace with the boots from a WWF A.J. Lee figure. Those popped in purrfectly! A paint job to the boots and now she not only has flats (better for rooftop running)but she no longer towers over some of my other figures AND she has ankle articulation!
- I always like CW with a belt. She has to store her safe-cracking tools somewhere doesn't she? The belt is from a couple of ML figures whittled together.
- Added some little arm pouches to her arms for variety
- Removed the glued on whip, painted that area and gave her a whip from the Mattel AC Catwoman.

I think she came out all right and fits in great with my Batman heroes and villains!
(forgive the photo but I had to use a flash on her to make the details visible)
