I've found that when customizing on a realistic 5 inch scale, the options for parts are limited to Superman Returns, Nolan Batman, and BBC figures (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Primeval.) I saw the Doctor Who Count Scarlioni figure and thought immediately, "That looks like something Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman) would wear. He was even wearing a big, gaudy emerald ring on his right index finger. (Kryptonite?!)
Since I Kevin Spacey played and almost better Gene Hackman than Gene Hackman, I lobbed off a Superman Returns Lex head and dremmeled it out to fit on Count Scarlioni's neck peg (he had interchangable heads.) Another Doctor Who The Master figure I found came with this weird crystal wand that looked like something he would have stolen from the Fortress of Solitude. Seems like fate, right?
