So, I've been making my way through Nightwing customs, slowly delving more in other members of the Bat Family. Taking a look at his villains, another of my favorites has always been Poison Ivy. She's had numerous designs over the years, and I wasn't sure which one to go with, so I decided to start here. I may work my way through more later. This certainly isn't my favorite costume design of hers, but it has managed to grow on me, as most of the New 52 designs that I didn't initially like have. At the start of New 52, she was brought into the Birds of Prey by Black Canary. It was interesting to see her on the team, even though it didn't last long. But the covers to a couple of issues are what sold me on using the Psylocke head and hair for her. The design is pretty simple, too. I think the green portions of her costume came to be more raised like leaves, but at first it was just was base black and green suit. Simple enough to paint by rotating black and green drybrushing. It's a start, at least. I may look into her other costumes later, along with some other favorites.
