Hello,

Today you can see Jor El in his Kryptonian suit where he steels the codex!!

Jor El is a head swap with a Superman body, with a detailed face paint to maximize the Russel Crowe sculpt, and painted the suit to match Jor El's color scheme--dark blue and gunmetal with a bronzed 'S'.

Also, I've swapped his right hand with a Revoltech 'open palm' hand, as the size was the same. I inserted a peg into his wrist which is really tight fit, and the Revoltech hand slides on, also a tight fit. The wrist turns at the cut. The different hand, while an easy mod, has changed the look of the figure regarding poses.Plus he holds the skull!

The skull is completely scratch sculpted from Aves, in small stages, and the separate stages allows the skull to have little fractures and lines that emulate a real bone skull and it's intricate detail. I went with the skull after it's retrieval from the matrix and so it doesn't have glowing orange DNA script.

I went for the simple look on this guy, but am very happy with him and how the skull turned out.

Thanks for looking!!

As always - very awesome job. The most impressive thing to me is that codex skull. I wish the movie would have explained more about that. Does the Making-Of book talk about it at all?

Great work my friend!

The book talks about a lot of the elements in the film. I really wish the Krypton sequence lasted longer and gave you more backstory. There's a lot of cool stuff that could have been in a few minutes of extra film time but added tons of thought provoking concepts and backdrops. Definitely a 'pick up' item for Superman fans!

damn! you beat me to it (again, lol). I´m waiting for a cast to arrive to make mine. You did an excellent job here, my friend. Love the paint job, and the codex accessory is a very cool plus (hope you don´t mind if I borrow the idea)

Perfection achieved in its simplicity! The added paint apps on his head really bring out Russel's likeness
