Hello Realmers... are you ready to start the weekend ?

Last week I started to watch the HBO McFarlane's Spawn animated series and must say I really like it, actually I started to think on how cool it could be to have a Spawn figure over my shelf... and this is the result :D

I used a Mattel WWE figure (as usual) as base and sculpted all the details with epoxic clay, the mask, straps and spikes, the gauntlet, etc.

In the beginning I didn't think on make a cape but then I thought "Spawn without cape is as if you have a Captain America without Shield or Thor without hammer", so I had have to find a way to create a cape which is actually a distinctive element in Spawn's outfit.

Fot the cape I used the "mache paper" technique. I builded a wire structure and then applied pieces of paper soaked with a mixture of glue and water over it, the result is a pretty good cape (imho).
