i haven't posted in a couple of months (sorry!) but that doesn't mean i haven't done customs.

in may i was invited to exhibit on the Chilean comic con by a fellow realmer so i made this specially for the occasion, i found these Chinese GOW bootleg figures (called "Bionicle Of War") which didn't looked really good at first until one realizes that the sculpt is amazing for the size and for being knock offs, the thing is that i found these figures perfect for a diorama of a battle, since i wanted to make something like this but using real soldiers seemed a bit boring.

Ok so, the diorama is made from wood, the pillar is a piece of PVC pipe and the statue is some kind of Christmas ornament, i made a sword and helmet for the statue from epoxy, all the figures where customized in some way with epoxy mostly the elbows and knees some necks and wrist too, i made a helmet for the cog who is lying on the floor, made the brains of the cog who received a head shot and also the head of Dom since the original was smaller than the rest of figures. After that, all of the figures and weapons where painted black and then painted again. the diorama has a lot of texture work and it was painted with a lot of dry brushing, and finally the blood was made using glue.
