Imagine, if you will, a combined DC/Marvel universe. After the Chitauri invasion in New York, Tony Stark vowed to be prepared for any situation. When General Zod attacked Metropolis, Iron Man wasn’t ready for the super powered Kryptonians…at least not yet. Amongst the rubble of the city Tony recovered pieces of Zod’s ship, the Black Zero, and embedded in them from traveling through the debris field of the planet, he found crystal shards from Krypton. Once a harmless, natural element, it had become irradiated when the planet exploded. That radiation was able to cancel the effects that the yellow sun had on the Kryptonian physiology. With the pieces of the ship, Tony fastened a new armor, powered by Kryptonite, so that if any more rogue Kryptonians threatened Earth, Iron Man would be ready. I’m two for two on crazy stories. I took a Heroic Age Iron Man from IM3 Legends line and gave it a black base and some light green highlights. The various arc reactors I painted a washed green to give it a glowing feel and added some flat gray for variety since it was starting to look a little Green Lantern-ish. Although, in retrospect, a Green Lantern Iron Man would have been cool too. Please be kind, I’m still new at this. Enjoy.
Wow, word for word too! I swear it is a coincidence. I had to look at your custom just now because I couldn't believe it. Great minds think alike I guess. Thanks for the compliment.
