This is a detailed repaint of a halo 4 spartan soldier, the third of three marvel themed spartans i have done. He was basecoated with gunmetal, drybrushd with silver, and then drybrushed with clear red and clear blue to give his armor a realistic beaten metal look.

he comes with a custom hard-light shield generated by a device strapped to his wrist, and a repainted assault rifle. I replaced the peg in his neck with a ball bearing, and added a magnet to his helmet for both better articulation, and for his unhelmeted head. The head is a repainted solid snake head cut and drilled to fit.

the idea for these spartans is that they are great descendants of marvel characters, except in this world, the original heroes were highly skilled and trained humans, rather than superhumans.

this is marcus rogers, a descendant of steve rogers, who was a highly decorated soldier known for his bravery in world war i. Marcus was inspired by his legendary grandfather, and joined up for the spartan program. He eventually acquires a hard light shied generator from a fallen enemy, and refits it for his own use, as well as repainting his armor to echo the legendary soldier. With his brighter colors and near impenetrable shield, he attracts and deflects enemy fire from his comrades, charging forward to open the path to victory!
