“They call me Mr. Fixit!” He’s not as large as his green skinned version, but this incarnation of the Hulk is still one strong, tough brute. Their differences were not just physical but mental as well. The grey Hulk was more streetwise and clever with a mean attitude. There was a time when he didn’t call himself Hulk but preferred to go by the name Joe Fixit, muscle for hire. A Las Vegas casino boss employed him as a bodyguard, enforcer, and all around leg-breaker. It was a role he really enjoyed for a while until his Bruce Banner alter ego took control again. There are still some rare occasions where instead of turning green, Banner’s transformation turns his flesh to shades of grey. Which means there’s a job for Mr. Fixit. Head – ML first appearance Hulk variant Body – The Goon figure This custom was inspired by the Hulk art of Kyle Hotz from Hulk #22 & 23. These issues were also inked by Eric Powell who created The Goon. ![]() |
