After seeing some really good customs of Firefly recently from Xysma Warhorse and Comiccustoms, I was inspired to go back and revisit my custom figure of the character. This is pretty much the same as my earlier version but with an all-new paint job. Chester001 had used the movie Green Goblin as a base figure for his Firefly custom, and that initially got me going when it came to making my own. The helmet is from a Power Rangers figure and sculpted over, the rocket backpack is from the 5 inch Firefly from the Dark Knight line, the flamethrower is a launcher accessory from the B:TAS figures and the hose connecting the two is made of both DCUC Black Manta's hoses connected together. Firefly's belt and glove and boot cuffs are sculpted I repainted the armour in a metallic dirty amber sort of colour and repainted the rocket pack in gunmetal (it looked too plasticky and toy-like before). The "bulb" of the rocket pack was painted orange-black. I hope this is an improvement over my previous try, thanks for looking!
