The Hulk's size is always wildly fluctuating, because different artists interpret the character in their own way. This is totally fine and both small and large hulks are required depending on what scene or comic era you may want to depict in your display. Although Hasbro gave us the perfect hulk recently, I wanted a bigger one. The various ML hulks were too big for my tastes, and the Ed Norton Hulk was a great size but too "movie series" for me, so I took out this old Ang Lee movie hulk from retirement. The hair was goofy looking so I sculpted my own, loosely based off his MvsC look. While I was at it, I patched up all the joint holes, and it still has all the great articulation. The color was not too bad, but there really was no shading, so I repainted the whole thing using Green Zinc Chromate (testors) did some dark green washes, and then drybrushed a brighter version of the green ZC. I mixed paints to get a purple I was satified with, and there was the larger scale hulk that I was looking for! not too big and not too small. Thanks for checking him out ![]() |
