Controversy! When news broke that Avengers producer Kevin Feige expressed interest in seeing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Luke Cage...and Johnson's response to that, fandom kinda lost it. Either some LOVE the idea, others completely HATE it. Me? I think it's cool, and in my opinion, he's the only actor that would make Marvel take a risk to really push a solo flick and/or a big Avengers appearance. Inspired by this and a really well done mock-up of a "Luke Cage" movie poster making it's rounds online, I decided to see what The Rock would look like as Cage in action figure form. I used the body of a Marvel Universe Absorbing Man as well as the head from a "G.I.Joe Retaliation" Roadblock. I really wanted to give him a steel girder accessory, but didn't have access to one, so I just kept the wrecking ball from the original figure. Though it's not my first choice, I think it would look really cool with him using that weapon onscreen.
