Greetings all, finally got some time to tick another one for "The collection" and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed getting back to what I love. Man-E-faces had been lying in the WIP graveyard for some time mostly done but needing a lot of sanding which I just didn't have the motivation to do, turns out it was a lot less work than anticipated. As I said I started this ages ago so I missed out some of the steps i'd take nowadays such as sanding down the legs joints so there is a little paint rub but I can live with it and i'm sure my other masters won't tease him too much for it. Anyhoo, here's the recipe:

Recipe:
Base = DCUC Orion.

Head = 200x Man-e-faces, taken apart for painting and a screw installed to attach to the magnet in the body.

Neck assembly = 200x Man-e-faces, magnet inside to keep head attached, sculpted surrounds to blend.

Chest Piece = 200x Man-e-faces, sculpt to secure and blend.

Shoulders = DCUC Orion, discs sanded down and added sergeant stripes from the 200x man-e-faces.

Upper arms = DCUC Orion, sculpted armor plates on the backs.

Lower arms = DCUC Dr.Midnite sanded joints, sculpted armor plates on the backs

Hands and wrists = 200x Man-e-faces, hollowed out to slide over DCUC lower arms.

Crotch = DCUC Orion with 200x Man-e-faces hollowed out and stuck on top, sculpt to blend.

Legs = DCUC Orion with 200x Man-e-faces legs hollowed out and sculpted to blend.

Feet = DCUC Orion with 200x Man-e-faces sculpted to blend

Gun = Cobbled together with three different guns two from unknown origins and handle from 200x Man-e-faces ridiculously oversized gun.

Mace =Projectile from 200x Man-e-faces gun with the stem off a 200x Stratos missile as the handle.

Painted and sealed with Games workshop and Vallejo products.

I decided against using the oversize gun that came with the 200x Man-e-faces as I found it too big and goofy looking and to me Man-E uses a Mace, ok I know he has a gun too but maces are much better. So I hope you enjoy and thanks for taking a glance at Man-E-Faces. Next up should be Syclone........ till next time............

Thanks dude, time well spent methinks, always loved his spinny face gimmick, one of the few gimmicks I ever enjoyed in an action figure.
