"Once considered an aprophrical tale by historians, mention of a unique oak throne aided in the story's validation when an Wayland Industries excavation team uncovered it in a cave on the Isle of Man. Initially thought to be adorned with a modified dinosaur skull, advanced DNA testing of the ornament revealed exterrestrial origins. Furthermore, the human skulls contained within the throne predated the wood it was carved from by 500 years."

Using a Marvel Select Mephisto throne I had (Skeletor was using up until then), I propped the chair upside down, and filled it with Smooth-on Black Onxy resin. This is usually used for casting parts, but I wanted to add weight to the piece, and make it solid enough to sculpt on top of, given the semi-flexible plastic it was made from.

I dremeled off most of the spikes from the top, the entire back of the chair, and underneath the seat. Using the parts listed above and Aves apoxie sculpt, I created something suitable for the 'Druid' Predator custom. The throne allows for the Predators' shield, scepter, and axe to be supported by it independent of the figure.

All sculpting done using Aves Apoxie Sculpt. Painted with Mr. Hobby lacquer paints/leveling thinner (armor), Vallejo acrylic, and Citadel inks/washes. Sealed with Mr. Hobby Super Clear Flat spray.
