This is my 3rd version of the figure and this one is the best.
Hasbro's version of the Mark 42 suit was too boring so I started wit ha repaint and line work. He got a black battle damaged wash too.

I drilled out the head cast and hand painted it. I made sure that it was interchangable with the helmet head. I found some WWE sunglasses and modified those to fit a smaller head.

The hand repulsors were painted to give an energy effect similar to the Arc Reactor in his chest. The boot repulsors were done also, even if they are on the bottom.

I did a fire energy effect for his left fist hand. I wanted to make it like a Marvel vs Capcom type punch effect. You have to imagine that Stark would incorporate a weapon like that once the suit was completed.

For his open repulsor hand I hid a magnet in his palm. The hidden magnet attaches to an engery blast to simulate the repulsor blast. Both energy effects are completely removeable from the figure but look great when posing him alone or against a villian.

It came out pretty good but after three of them I think I'm tapped out and it was hard to make them each unique.
