The story thus far...Colonel Jebediah Wilson is an ancestor of the present day Deathstoke, Slade Wilson. Jeb Wilson was a master tactician and strategist for Gen Custer. Jeb was the the only army member to suggest waiting for reinforcements before engaging the enemy. Alas we know how that battle ended. But Jeb fought valiantly at the battle and just before an enemy warrior was about to snag a trophy of hair and scalp, Jeb was able to thrust his saber sword into his enemy's heart. It killed the warrior but at the cost of Jeb's right eye.
Jeb clawed and crawled his way off the battlefield, and managed to get to the Army base and explain what had occured and to suggest for reinforcements.
But before Jeb's plea was heard he was dishonorably discharged from the army for desertion,since he fled from the battle site.
Jaded and angry Jeb eluded military justice (by hanging) and roamed the country side as a gun for hire for the rest of his days.
Neither a friend or foe from any version of justice he was feared across the USA and Mexico.
