Bought a Wave 19 Hawkman for the alternate head, (custom Marvel Now Cap A) but I did not want to do anything with the original figure. As time progressed the odd looking bird face kept bothering me so it needed to go. I realize that the bird mask was his look during the golden age but I did not care for it. I decided to go with a silver age Hawkman with a little more armor for battles.
Not a hard custom to do but just an upgrade of sorts.
The recipe is as follows......
Head-removed lower jaw and beak and transplanted a ML Magneto lower jaw
Mask-attached a beak from the fodder bid toy.
Shoulder armor-DCUC IL Atom
Right bicep armor strap-ML Black Panther claws with sculpted band.
Right hand claws-are from SMO Iron-Spider tentacles
Painted chest symbol.
Left arm elbow armor-rubber thingy I found
Knee spikes,- sculpted and glued a chain around both
Feet-sculpted the talons to be a bit longer.
Shield-DCC 1st app Hawkman. Sculpted spikes and paint.
