My newest custom I made for my lovely lady Nikki. Azula from Avatar The Last Airbender.

Recipe: Spider-Man base figure, head is from Buffy, and fire bender armor from avatar (lots of dremeling).

Azulas crown is made from clam shell cut and filed to size and super glued on. The crown was a pain in the butt cause I glued my darn fingers together

Blue fire/Lightning was made from twist ties dipped in vallejo water effects. Afterwards one coat of azul blue ink wash, dry brush magic blue, dry brush electric blue and light dry brush of skull white.

Armor/body is based in black with my favorite reds dry brushed on; bloody red, gory red, scar red Testors black was used to give a shine to shoulder pads and boots. Polished gold and glorious gold were applied to details around collar, belt, crown, and boots. Flesh tone is a combination of pale flesh and dwarf skin.

Azula was a pretty fun character to work on. The transition from cartoon to action figure was difficult. Especially since I had little reference material in the way of toys darn YOU MATTEL! The blue fire/lightning was very easy to make adding that lethal look azula is known for.
