Hey Everyone! Back with another Guardians of the Galaxy member. Here we have Groot! Not gonna lie, was a bit intimidated thinking about trying this because I knew the work that was needed to be put in for a decent Groot. So here Goes the Recipe.

Started off with a Punisher Marvel Icons, Removed arms and lower legs. Modified what was left of the arms and legs. Used arms and legs from an 18 Inch LOTR Talking Ent Figure. Was able to modify those as well to fit with the Punisher. Then went ahead with a complete head sculpt, Sculpted new sleeves and pant around the tree limbs to look like they're torn, I mean come on, A tree man wearing clothes...the clothes wouldn't be in great shape. Sculpted chest details, sculpted shoulder pads, On the head I cut off quite a few parts from the Ent and modified them to fit the head.
Paint, Sprayed completely black, Limbs were then painted using two different browns, Used amedium blue for the Clothes and then some Green leaves. This took me quite awhile and I am really happy with how this turned out. It's actually my favorite custom that Iv'e done.
