Real simple. Always hated the Tentacles on the Doc Ock figures in the 3.75 scale and I thought the spider man movie tentacles were terrifying so I gave him some. I think it makes him a little more menacing.

A mixture of drilling holes in the back, shaving the ends down, and sculpting over it. I completely forgot to take any pics but it basically looks like they are coming out of his back...nothing fancy.
