For the longest time I searched for the "perfect" Hulk to go in my Marvel Universe Avengers line-up. The Hulk is by far one of my favorite characters so I own and like the MU versions of him just fine but they didn't seem quite right. MU Hulk is just a little too small...he's supposed to be the HULK and tower even over the tallest heroes! And he should be big, big enough to look like he could flatten Thanos with one punch! The old MU body is bulky enough but a bit short, the new one just seems a bit shrimpy.
So my solution was the Wave 1 Hulk from the Norton movie line of figures. I think he scales perfectly, the 3rd image included shows him on-shelf to see the scale reference. He stands about 5 inches so he's not super towering over other figures like a Legends figure would, but he's definitely bigger than anybody else. I like the fact one hand is open because he can even hold some smaller heroes like the Sentinel and Galactus Masterworks can. Basically just a repaint once I selected the right figure, the paint on it kind of sucked with different shades of green plastic and the blue pants so I tried to make him a bit more classic comic color scheme.
