Customized the original 1988 Foot Soldier figure to match the original 1987 cartoon appearance a little better. While it was already almost 100% accurate physically, there were still a few things that differed, specifically the armor. I originally was just going to simply repaint the figure and call it done, in fact I had already done that, then I looked at it and searched for ways to change it up a bit more. Trimmed down the original armor to a slightly shorter length then glued it back onto the figure and added a third strap onto each arm inbetween the 2 existing ones, since on the cartoon they usually have 3 straps on each arm. Then sculpted over the original armor to make it look closer to how it appears on the show. I also changed some of the clothing by straigthening out a few areas and making it look neater such as the hood area, the area right under the belt, and the sleeves near the hands. Then of course repainted the entire figure. I definitely plan to make more of this exact same one duplicates, never hurts to have more Foot Soldiers.
