Ok Lex has finally demoted me to janitor, Brainiac was completely obliterated by Superman…so I guess it’s time to contact Cadmus and let them deal with Superman and Lex Luthor…I’m so out of this deal..Waller says she has the ultimate Doom weapon at her disposal..she call it project Doomsday…Finally Lex and Superman will pay…

DOOMSDAY was a project I started back in November of last year. I bought several collect and connect pieces from Validus and Arkillo to make the perfect base for him. I had to sculpt the middle fingers (Take that Lex!) for him since Validus only had 3 they are internally reinforced with a steel wire since my early tests shown that sculpt alone wasn’t durable enough.

The protruding bones are sculpted on top of wires that were drilled onto the figures Shoulders, elbows, knees, etc so they were more durable and sturdy. Now the head is a HEAVILY modified Kalibak face. I only took a print of Kalibak’s noggin and then sculpted the head, mouth teeth and chin, also adding the small bones.

The paint job is simple since the animated style doesn't not allow me for some realism (I would have loved to make an animated style doomsday with realistic paint and sculpt!!...Maybe…in the future…)but I inserted some 3 dimensional paint job on his hair and bones. Also, cartoon style muscle definition.

Now that I think about it..IT WAS A LOT OF WORK!!! God I really don’t want to part with it…he looks so...purty!!!

This is the end of my partnership with Lex and my beef with Superman…now onto other characters from the JLU universe!!
