This is the U-87 from the prequel series Caprica. The prototype that Zoe's avatar is trapped in, and of what will later become the military Cylons. I used a Retro Cylon figure, removed pretty much all of it's armor, and went to town re-sculpting everything. I sliced down the head and repainted, then took off the chest plate and put a layer of clay over it, and went in with small tools to carve in all the little details. Glued the chest plate back on and then painted everything with 2 different blacks, 3 different grays/silvers, and a gold. The figure remains fully articulated, and it's not 100% show accurate, but considering the work that went into it, I'm pretty happy with the outcome.  Please wait... |
