Jim Corrigan-Spectre´S First Host (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:48153
Name:Jim Corrigan-Spectre´S First Host
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:DC Universe
Creator:ringomendoza
Date Added:March 19, 2013
Base Figure:DCUC Sandman, Spectre
Height:6.00 inches
Continuing with my "Secret indentities" series, here we have Jim Corriga, the Spectre´s host since the golden age until Hal Jordan took the mantle, and later Crispus Allen. I always thought the Spectre was a silly looking character, until I read John Ostrander´s run on him. I still think his look is kind of silly, but he is an awesome character, and the moral dilemmas he faces in Ostrander´s series captivated me. But perhaps more than the Spectre himself, I found his human host, Jim Corrigan, fascinating. Immediately after reading the comics, I purchased a Spectre figure, and always had a Jim Corrigan figure in mind. Took me sometime, but I finally made him.
He´s made from a DCUC Sandman body, Starman hands and a Spectre head with Sportsmaster´s ears glued and sculpted hair and eyebrows. I repainted tie and shoes and the suit got a slight shading. Hope you like him.
