A few people wanted me to make a Phoenix to go with my Excalibur customs, so here she is...

Mostly ML Hope with X-23 fists, Star Sapphire feet and fodder ankles (gotta get those all-important rocker joints in there!). Sculpted the hair and added a little meat to her thighs & shins. Getting the spikes cut and inset was a pain in the bum, but other than that she was pretty simple...

I always loved this costume for Rachel, and this is one of the best customs I've seen of it. You really captured the style of the character from that period.

Your group shot of the team is just gorgeous. Excalibur was one of my favorite comics during its initial run. I dream of a set just like this actually being made some day, but that may never happen. Lovely, lovely work!

I saw this group shot on the Fwoosh and sakes alive, that is sweetness right there. This Rachel is uber-cool and I'd have never guessed that was Hope's head. The mods you've done to it are awesome and it really just screams that it's old-school Rachel. It's about perfect. Really fantastic work.

Thanks! There's really not a lot done to the head - added ears, slightly resculpted the cheeks and did the hair. A lot of the new Hasbro heads look really good once they've got a bit of paint on 'em to bring out the details...
