A lot of realmers have had a shot at creating a Crossbones figure and here's my contribution to the selection. He's going to be a main villian in the next Captain America movie "Winter Soldier" so I'm sure we'll see alot more of them in the future.

I never was a fan of the ML Crossbones so I wanted to come up with a better one. Also, I display it with a Marvel Select Movie Red Skull so he had to be big and imposing.

My custom is inspired by many others here, the recipe is familiar to realmers already but I've also added some of my own touches. I used the Thunderbolts version of Crossbones (Brock Rumlow) because I like the design, I wanted to make him a little different to the usual Crossbones custom and Thunderbolts is the one I had the most reference materials to work with as well.

Rumlow/Crossbones was trained by the Taskmaster and became his star pupil so he's an accomplished bladesman that's why he's got that big knife on back. I also like it when Crossbones is loaded for bear so I piled on the ordnance. He's usually depicted with H&K MP5's so I had to give him at least one.

Recipe is as follows:
Base figure: WWE Ruthless Aggression.
Forearms and hands: ML Bishop
Lower legs/boots: ML Movie Juggernaut
Head: Cast bought on eBay.
Sculpted: collar/straps, crossbones symbol on chest and Thunderbolts insignia with Apoxy Sculpt using the KISS method (keep it simple stupid).
Assorted fodder from: NECA, McFarlane and Marvel Legends. Those pouches for instance on his shoulders are from two ML 4 Punishers.

Look forward to your comments.

Thanks again Banner. Much like I did with your Bane custom, I looked at what I liked from other Crossbones customs from much better customizers than me and used what I liked to make my own. I'm flattered that you like the results.
