Base Figure:DCUC sportsmaster,Jonah Hex, Power ring
Height:6.00 inches
I´m late to the party on this one, I´m afraid. Everybody seems to have done it. Well, for mine, I wasn´t sure which version to make. Red bat logo, no logo, new 52, regular, animated...so, I came up with this. Kind of a mix with elements I like from every version. Sportsmaster body, Jonah hex arms, jacket from movie civilian cyclops, gun holster from movie punisher, vynil decal for red bat chest logo. Masked head from Sportsmaster re-sculpted, unmasked head is a cast from Power ring´s.

Yeah the Bat symbol is really cool, it's a fun choice to show a light refraction on it, and there's this neat by-product of doing it this way - the thickness of the material itself shows, and it's white in the middle, so you see this extra seam in it that hightens the dimensionality of it. It's very cool.

Thanks, man. It´s a very effective recipe, although I would have used another jacket, but this was the only one available in my fodder bin. . Can´t wait to see your version, I´m sure it´ll be awesome, I really like your work.

Thanks man! I ended up using a jacket off of a Mcfarlane Terminator figure. I had to cut it up in sections, apply it to the upper section the chest, and resculpt fully (sculpting where the sections of the jacket meet up AND all the bullet holes!!!) I think it looks pretty cool. Soon I will get that one posted, but first I gotta post my movie concept Red Hood!

I LOVE your work! You have great imagination. I especially like your "civilian" line of figs. You, as some others, have inspired me to getting back into customizing. My only thing is your pics are a little too dark. Don't get me wrong, it looks cool for some of the figs but I for one would like to see your work more on detail. Good job!

It´s funny, cause I just added an extra light to shoot my figs... ...Yeah, I agree, sometimes they´re too dark...Although some of them are shoot dark on purpose, others aren´t... , and I just get mad when I can´t get the lightning right.. ..anyways, gotta get me a new lightning set and perhaps study some photography. Thank you for your kind words and constructive criticism. And welcome back to the hobby!!!

Bad to the batbone! One of the best ones yet!!! Love the symbol and the helmet/mask (I may need to get you to send me a tutorial on the decal making and how to size them correctly for 1/12th scale figures)

Thanks for dropping by, Fred! Actually, they do the sizing in the place where I get them printed, but it isn´t really hard at all. If you have the right program, you just take measures on the figure, resize and print. The cool thing about this vynil decals is that they are adhesive. You stick it on the fig, apply heat with a hair dryer, push it a little to make it even, and it adheres, fitting like a glove, even on muscled chests, for example. I love how they look.

Thanks, Necro. Always a pleasure to see your comments on my work, bro. Yeah, the bat is a vynil decal. I ´ve been using decals for my last customs, and really love them. Thanks again!

This is AMAZING, Ringo! What a BADASS custom of the Hood! I love the chest emblem! Is that a decal? It's so COOL!
The metallic red accents on his knees & boots and the paint job on his mask are beautiful!
