Hi Realmers!
Behold the mighty McDouble! The product of a fun collaboration with one of the coolest Realmers on this site, Xysma the Warhorse. Very early on, Xysma's customs served as inspiration to me when I began learning about this awesome hobby. So, of course, when one of your heroes asks if you'd like to collaborate on a project with him, there's only one answer I can think of....HELLZ YEAH!!!!!

I am a huge fan of Xysma's McDonaldland customs, so to be able to paint one of his new McDonaldland customs has been a great Honor and Privilege. The initial base figure served as a totally fun canvas to go crazy on. ^_^
Painting McDouble was almost a surreal experience as it seemed like Xysma had prepared the figure to go with the vision I had for him once I saw him.

I also have to give a shout-out to cjp666 for the tip he gave me on how he made those awesome veins on his Female Zombie 1 custom. I love the effect so much that I just had to use it multiple times on McDouble. Thanks, cjp666! ^_^

Check out the awesome backstory that Xysma came up with once he saw how McDouble was turning out:
++++++++++
Amongst the obese citizens of McDonaldland, sports have little or no presence; however, wrestling, boxing, and mma fighting have remained popular. Throughout history, humans have enjoyed watching violence, and there is no fighter more violent than “Dirty” Dane Doogan. Dirty Dane dominated the fighting arenas of McDonaldland for many years, becoming champion of all three disciplines and the most popular celebrity McDonaldland had ever seen. For that reason, when Dirty Dane noticed several large purple growths on his body, he was rightfully concerned with his future. He began wearing a singlet and painting his face like Ronald McDonald to try and hide the growths. His plan worked for awhile, he gained even more popularity with the face paint and change in attire, but as the growths got larger, he knew he wouldn’t be able to hide his mutation forever.

A common practice among professional wrestlers, Dirty Dane’s management team concocted a fake injury in order to give him some time off. Dirty Dane would have never guessed that it would be almost two years before he returned to the spotlight. His condition took a serious turn when the growth on his chest began making noises. To his dismay, Dirty Dane realized that the growth on his chest was in fact a head, and the growths on his back were arms. He had heard rumors of mutations throughout McDonaldland, and the mutants being smuggled out of the city into exile under the cover of night to prevent an all-out panic, but he had always believed them to just be rumors, after all, the Council wouldn’t do that to their own citizens…. Would they?

As it turns out, Dane was incredibly lucky. His mutation came at a time when so many citizens were becoming mutants that it was becoming exceedingly difficult for the Council to cover it up. They had decided to go public with the mutations, and what better way to go public than with a poster child for mutation? The beloved fan favorite, Dirty Dane Doogan, was the answer the Council needed, seemingly handed to them from Ronald Himself.

The council determined that the purple “man” growing from Dirty Dane was in fact a Fetus in Fetu that had been mutated by McDonald’s tainted meat like so many citizens of McDonaldland. Dirty Dane’s unborn twin brother had begun to grow and had gained self-awareness as a result of the mutation. The Council seized the opportunity to create a star. The twin was named Grimace due to his purple complexion and the popularity of the mythical creature of the same name. They encouraged Dane to continue with his Ronald McDonald face paint and created a whole new outfit for him to wear, accentuating his mutation and attempting to make it “cool” to be mutant. To further link their hero to the Council and the McDonaldland religion, they convinced Dirty Dane to change his name to Dirty Dane McDouble. He began to train Grimace to fight and retrain himself to fight in coordination with Grimace until he was confident he could perform at a championship level once again.

“The Return of Dirty Dane” was one of the biggest and most promoted events of the year. The unveiling of Dirty Dane McDouble prompted an outpouring of support for the star and squashed the rumors of mutants being secretly forced into exile by the Council. In nearly every household in McDonaldland, at least one family member “came out,” no longer hiding his or her mutation in fear of being forced into the Wastelands.

Thanks again, Xysma, for a really fun collabo!
:)
Thanks for looking, Realmers. ^_^

Thanks man, I have really enjoyed doing these McDonaldland figures, as always I've got to give credit to Carlton Mellick for inspiring me. The first two I did, Mayor McCheese and Hamburglar, came straight from his novel Warrior Wolf Women of the Wasteland as did the dystopian McDonaldland concept. I liked it so much I ran with it, creating all the other characters and their backstories to fit them into his original vision and expand on it.

He's an original character, Fast Freddie planted the seed of making McDouble some time last year, and I made a first version, but it was just lacking something. I wanted to work with NeCrollector so I got him involved, and I sculpted a new version of McDouble with the idea of the fetus in fetu mutation. Once NeCrollector got his hands on it, he came up with the Grimace and Ronald Mashup, which I think really made it.
