This is my 2nd of Jim Lee's Wildcat team. Eventually I will try to custom the entire team but I like to do different characters from DC, Marvel etc. Warblade is my 3rd Image character. I wanted him to have a savage facial expression on him.
He is quite a mix up of parts of other figure and sculpt.
Warblade comes from....
Head is ML AoA Sabertooth-I got rid of the fangs in his mouth. sculpted the helmet and used a ML Omega Red ponytail. It is adhered on by earth magnets.
Torso and Shoulders-ML Deathlock. I
Upper arms-ML Gambit
Lower arms and hands- Spider-man Classics Carnage.-used sculpt to even everything out, with the fingers and forearms. Tried to get rid of that ooze look from the original figure.
Chest coils -ROML Constrictor with a plastic ruby gem in the centre. Sculpted the chest plate the blends the gem and coils together.
Upper Legs are X-men Classics Angel Bird of Prey. Sculpted the knee pads and silver armor on the outside of the upper leg.
Lower legs DCUC Cap Boomerang.
Feet are ML Taskmaster. (with some sculpt)
There are 2 cables from his back to his arms that was a bracelet of some sort I cut into 2 parts. I glued them into the arm holes that were already there. He does lose some mobility but the bracelet does have some give to it.
The back of the figure (not shown) has Deathlok's backpack removed and the 2 plastic rectangles from it glued on. This is where all the cables
flow into.
Painted the figure and then done.
