Continuing to roll out original Jedi character customs!This one I decided to give a back story.This is Wookie Jedi Master Bo.Master Bo was one of Master Yoda's first padawans,as Wookies have a long life span.Bo was well known for his not-so-nice temperament and tactical expertise.He was instrumental in brokering Kashyyyk's inclusion in the Galactic Republic,and a legendary general on Kashyyyk during the Clone Wars.He was also on Kashyyyk when Order 66 was given.During a massive fire fight between the clone troopers and the Wookies,Master Bo was thought to have perished,although his body was never found.There are reports that Bo went into hiding in the jungles of Kashyyyk during the Jedi Purge and may have been active well into the Rebellion Era.Bo's lightsaber was modded to have a wooden handle.
I do want to add that this figure was inspired by another customizers great version of a Wookie Jedi,I wish I could remember who it was so I could give them proper credit.I'm not sure if I saw it here on the Realm or another site,possibly hisstank.
I've learned that customizing is full of "happy accidents" and sometimes it's best to follow your instincts and see where they lead you!Most,if not all,of my customs evolve as I'm creating them,and often have differences from the source material,so my work reflects my interpretation of the characters.So,please remember,the figure may not look 100% like the comic or movie version,but I always do my best to capture the essence of the character.
Quite often I see other customizers figures and I'm in awe of their work and have to make one of my own!In those cases,I hope the original customizer realizes that imitation is the ultimate form of flattery,and I really am paying them a very sincere compliment.In cases where I know who the original customizer is,I will always give credit where it is due.
