I have done this one so many times over the years I thought I would circle back on an extra DCSH Superman figure and get back to my roots. This figure features added articulation throughout to help better balance and support those "Super Poses".

Alterations include:

• Neck has been regrooved for increased flexing of front to back/up & down
• Back has been deepened for added arching of the back
• Elbows have been ground out to allow tighter closure of forearms
• Inner thighs have been deepened to allow figure to stand upright
• Backs of knees have been ground out to allow tighter closure of lower legs
• Ankles have been deepened to allow full advantage to be taken of the rocker joints.

Also I have attached a pull through cape with some additional features. This cape has added security in the neckline so that fabric will never shift or pull up. This allows COMPLETE control over how it is presented… for ALL TIME!!!

This is great. Always liked the old DCSH head best, and with some mods and a neat new cape, best Superman never in the line but should have been.
I've modded those legs to close once, and I've had to go in and and dig out the elbows on LOTS of DCUC figs whose arms wouldn't even bend 90 degrees. Kudos on not being satisfied with the crappy DCUC range of motion (and DCSH). Really nice work.

Yeah. This was kinda my starting point with customs. Those 2 packs clearances out @ target and I went buck wild stacking those puppies up... $7.50 I think they got down to? Anyway with this surplus I found myself in s graft position to screw a couple up... And I did but by the time I ground through a couple it was the only way to go... Then came my first "Reeve" likeness (#1 post of mine) and I've been in custom mode ever since.

Man I normally don't care for cloth capes but you made this look great! It reminds me of a bigger version of the old Super Powers figure. Don't know if that's what you were going for, but I like it.

That joint in the inner thighs is already square. You just have to dig the plastic in a couple degrees and create a deeper inner thigh joint. I use the cylinder stone on my dremmel. I did square off the upper legs too. That helped them not compete for space and still close at 100%.

Right? It was the only aspect that ever bugged me about that figure. After fixing that once I then turned to altering the rest of the joints.
