Your reply reminds me, another tip I heard (but haven't tried) for Iron-Man type characters is you lay down a base of solid silver on the fig., then use Tamiya brand Clear paints (I.e. clear yellow, clear red), or another brand but must be semi-transparent paints, over the silver and it gives you a dope colored metallic effect! . Jin Saotome has a website, you can google it, and he has tutorials on painting with other neat metallic tricks like worn and rusty armor n stuff!

Great Job Aiden, especially for someone so young! I noticed you asked for any tips. I'm pretty new to the hobby, too, but try to pick up what I can from wherever I can so0 if you ever have any specific questions, even if they're unrelated to my customs, feel free to post em on my customs and if I have the answer I'd be happy to share what I know! One tip I don't know if anyone's told you is that some characters look good with matte, flat paint and some look good glossy and shiny, or a mix of the two. Some companies make paints that are matte and glossy but a cool way to achieve this is by using acrylic sealer sprays after your paint job is complete, and it helps protect the figure somewhat as well. Krylon makes a great Gloss coat spray, and Army painter brand and testors make a good matte or dullcote spray! If you bandage off the areas you don't want to spray fi you're mixing both styles with plastic wrap you can coat the areas you want a certain way, and then when that sets after a few hours, you can do the same with the other finish. Keep up the great work!!!

Paint job on his head looks better than most of my attempts to paint flesh.

thank you very much! I've been having a few difficulties with skin tones so I spent a little while more on them this time

over all real nice job. I think some different hands would be good for him though, or maybe just grinding them down a bit so they look less talon like.

Solid work, the paint apps to the head/face are very well done.
As far as advice, check out the tutorials here and just keep creating and have fun.
