I'm planning on repainting my set, could you answer some questions for me by any chance?

How did you paint the waxy weapons so that the paint would stick?

Did you remove the straps and paint them seperately and if so, what is the best way to remove and reattach them?

These are really cool bro, great work. Question, how the hell did you get paint to stay on those weapons? I ended up scrapping the weapons and using fodder for my slash.

Thanks Xysma. Getting paint to stay on was a combination of sanding, priming, and coating in superglue. Sanded down all the surfaces on them, used duplicolor vinyl and fabric dye spray (you can get it at automotive stores), and then coated them in superglue by putting a dab on a ziplock bag, and then rubbing it on. Glue for whatever reason doesn't really stick to ziplock bags, and it lets you apply it very thinly.

Leos mouth sculpt looks great, what kinds of greens did you use for the turtles?

thanks man. All citadel paints, base coated with Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric dye spray. Leo was camo green. Raph was warpstone glow. Don was castellan green. Mike was Waaagh! Flesh. They were all washed with several different shades after that.

WOW!! I love seeing repaints of the Nick Turtles! Yours are Awesome! And the sculpt to Leos face is perfect, kinda how I always picture him! Great Job as always Mr.Tango!
