my collection of zombie figures was somewhat lacking in gender diversity, so i took it upon myself to make a few undead girlies.

i started off with an all over repaint to give her a more pallid skin tone. i removed the original awkwardly positioned arms and replaced them with more neutral ones from the fodder parts collection, sculpting the sleeves onto the new appendages as i went.

i also sculpted a bite wound on to the calf of one leg. the infection must start somewhere after all...

I had some bare arms in my box of parts - not sure what figure they were from, maybe something from Battlestar Galactica - and sculpted new sleeves on the upper arm. The pegs swapped in without any alteration.

You took the words out of my mouth. That bite looks nasty.

I'm glad y'all like it! it's a pretty simple effect to achieve, just a thin layer of green stuff smoothed over the existing model with teeth marks punched in with a small screwdriver head.

oh, and blue ball point pen for the infected veins

Using a ball point pen is genius! I use permanent markers sometimes for detailing, but I never thought about using a ball point pen. I love it! Gotta try it one of these days. How do you assure that the ink won't smear? Thank you so much for sharing. I truly appreciate it. I love the effect you've been able to achieve.

to be honest, it was experimental on my part, so I didn't know whether the ink would smear or not. but after applying it over the layer of acrylic paint used to paint up the green stuff, it just seemed to stay put
