I made this straight after I finished my MvC Apocalypse Custom. I was pumped-up to make more add-on weapons for Apocalypse that it warranted another version of the big guy. I used the same base as my previous Apoc. The head is fully sculpted. I tried to differentiate it to my other Apoc head. He appears a bit older I think. I sculpted quite a bit more of his body than my previous Apoc, so that it would look different. Pvc Plastic with combination of Apoxy Sculpt is used on most of his armor and body parts. The cape is from MS Thor. It might be a little short, but It does the job I wanted. It's not heavy and the figure stands up straight with it. Now the attachments are all done from a mix bag of materials. The rotating Saw is PVC plastic that I cut individually. Added some plastic gear parts from a broken toy and the handle is something I found in my garage. It's a garden hose gear cap thing. If you have a garden hose you'll know what I mean lol.... That something is what I used on the drill as well. I found a fisher price drill for kid and attached the garden hose parts to it. I tried to find a proper drill bitt but I couldn't find a big enough drill bit to fit this Apocalypse. So I improvise. :) Anyway the paint is straight forward. 2 types of blue and reds. I think I gave it a little gray wash at the end, to give it some highlights. As always leave a feedback if you dig.... or not? it's still fun to hear your opinion of it :) ![]() |
