Hey fellow Realmers,
Red Hood is one of my favorite Batman characters due to his backstory, I love how after Jason was killed by the Joker he was ressurected through the Lasarus pit by Ra's al Ghul and became Red Hood. I started off with a DCUC Green Lantern that I bought as I wanted to make my own corps member, but it didn't go to plan. At Christmas I received the animated film:Under the Red Hood and thought it was a really awesome film, and after my cosplay meetup dressed as Red Hood I decided to make him in figure form as Mattel hasn't released a Red Hood figure even though they should.
I started by washing the figure in soapy water to remove the greasy substance that the painters use to stop other paint from sticking to the figure so that the paint that I would use would stick and wouldn't come off. I then replaced the Green lantern hands with MM Harvey Dent hands as they were both open and would be ideal to hold his weapons, I then replaced the lower portion of his legs with the Movie Masters survival suit Bruce Wayne lower legs. After this I added the belt from the same figure and used Deadpool's gun holster and Bucky's knife sheath and added them to the figure. Ins: T then fully sculpted the helmet onto a LCBH Star head and sculpted the chest emblem using apoxie and painted using Tamiya acrylics. The coat is a cut down Gambit pleather coat as I haven't seen anybody use it for their customs.
In summary;
Head: LCBH Star fully sculpted.
Body: DCUC Green Lantern.
Lower Legs and Belt:MM Survival suit Bruce Wayne.
Hands:MM Harvey Dent.
Knife and Sheath: ROML Wave 2 Bucky Cap.
Gun Holster: ROML Deadpool.
Guns: ROML Punisher.
Coat: Toybiz Marvel Legends Gambit.
