thought the wings on the wasp figure from legends were nice, but all that sculpted detail would show better with some paint. decided to swap out the head with a dcuc power girl and sculpt the chest armor on to add some more detail to the plain body.

shes made from a legends wasp figure, sculpted armor detail, powergirl head and then total repaint.

That head is so much nicer, good job with the painted details on it, although the flesh could be smoother, The added armor on front and the paint apps on the wings all help push it over into awesome territory. Great work. Looks really really nice.

thanks. I know I need to work on that flesh tone thing. the only thing I use differently on the face than the rest is a citadel dry paint for the drybrushing. my lightest fleshtone is one of those and im wondering if thats whats doing it. or that combined with being brush sealed.

thanks emm, I had planned to make that asymmetrical white and blue perez outfit when I started her, but I stumbled across a pic of a cosplay girl in a wasp costume that had the chest armor like this and I wanted to give her a try. I thought the golds would giver me more colors to work with in the wings than shades of blue would.
