First off I want to say this Green Lantern is based off of JonnyVu's Goat Lantern. A simple search of the words "The Goat Lantern" will take you to his custom so that you may compare the two.

I have incorporated the story in JonnyVu's custom into my own. So here goes.

Garnet Loas hails from Sector 3479. He is renowned for his creativity and determination. Having run into only one of Earth's Green Lanterns (Guy Gardner) and dealing with the consequences of a severe hangover and ego bashing he rarely ventures out of his sector. He prefers to patrol his own sector and use his ring for long range communication back and forth to Oa. Salaak himself pointed out that the crime rate in sector 3479 has dropped significantly since Garnet Loas became a Green Lantern.

Garnet Loas is one of two survivors of the assault on the Sector House in Space Sector 3479 by the Keepers. The Keeper strike force penetrated the precinct security, killing all first responding Green Lanterns. Garnet Loas recieved the distress call from Sector House 3479 through his Power Ring. A ten second visual file by a bloody Green Lantern.

"Sector Security breached by unknown threat, constructs ineffective AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Garnet Loas managed to arrive in time to confront the intruders. However, he quickly learned the meaning behind the distress call. Realizing that his opponents were immune to the green light of his Power Ring. Opting to avoid a fight where he would be outnumbered and out gunned, Garnet Loas chose instead to retreat back to Oa. He managed to save the life of one fellow Green Lantern in the process.

Garnet Loas is a survivor of The Blackest Night. He was present on Oa paying his respects to the fallen Lanterns of Sector House 3479 when swarms of black power rings invaded the Crypts of Oa. Garnet Loas quickly found himself confronted by the Black Lanterns of Sector House 3479. He fought against the undead Black Lanterns that were once his friends. Each one condemning him on his failure to prevent their deaths. During the merciless attack, the Black Lanterns gained the upper hand and attempted to rip out his heart. However, Garnet Loas survived when all the Black Lanterns received new instructions from the Black Lantern Central Power Battery which commanded them to consume the Green Lantern Central Power Battery and the Willpower Emotional energy that resided within it. Regaining his composure, Garnet Loas quickly moved to protect the Central Power Battery from this new onslaught.

Base Figure: DC Universe Classics Kyle Rayner
Head: The head was cut from a three headed mythical realms chimera figure from Michaels. Google Safari Ltd and do a search for chimera to find it. It is the same head JonnyVu used. I am not sure if I did my dremel work as good as his.
Construct: DC Universe Classics Kyle Rayner construct. The first part was removed from the sword to create to constructs.
Thoughts: Every since I saw JonnyVu's Goat Lantern I wanted to do one myself. And when I found the figure he used to get the head well I had to have it. You will notice JonnyVu used Manhunter arms and lower legs to make his more unique. I did not have the Manhunter to try this and I am not even sure I would have had the balls to try it. So I opted for the easy way out but he looks just as cool.

As always I love it when you guys comment. Suggestions for improvements or future customs are always welcome.

Yeah to be totally honest I think a lot of my stories would look great in a comic. Sadly I cannot pay the ammount needed to get a good artist to do one.

The name comes from JonnyVu's custom. However, I may have helped him come up with that name. I cannot remember. hehe

The extended story is of my own imagination. Thanks for looking.

AWESOME Lantern, saber! I checked out Jonny Vu's Goat Lantern and I love the fact that both yours and his are similar yet distinguishable...not to mention both are KICKASS!!! As the saying goes, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". Heck! If I ever run into a goat toy, I'll make sure to pick it up and give this cool Lantern a try.
As always, I enjoy your back stories, my friend...you got talent, dude!
Looking forward to your next work-of-art!

Yeah JonnyVu is actually partly responsible for getting me into customizing. I got on here with the interest to do it and after commenting on his custom Lanterns we started talking. He gave me some positive advice and I gave it a shot. His encouragement led to what you see now. As for this guy I loved JonnyVu's work and loved doing this custom Lantern. And as always I love getting your comments, Necro.
