The first custom I will have posted on here so far! Although I enjoy the look of the spiderman 3.75 Venom, the lack of articulation killed me, so I tried to make a more posable Venom. I had one of those clear blue venom's, I started by cutting out the tongue and closing the mouth, then i cracked the body open, and salvaged the arms, I decided I liked the look of the spine on venoms back so i took the torso and hollowed it out, then i used sculpey to mould them onto the Gladiatior torso, ( I had to sculpt and shave the body down a lot to get the hollowed out torso pieces to fit on, and had to sand the arm pegs down a little in order to get them to fit. once i had done that i just had to paint it, which given venoms symbol actually ended up being fairly difficult, and here is the end result. I am fond of it, and i do consider it an upgrade from the other venoms in the MU line, although I have to admit that I wish I could have had a suitable pair of replacement legs just to make the figure a little less top heavy looking...., in all honestly i finished painting this morning after not sleeping last night... the venom symbol is such a pain in the ass, I gave it a blue green wipe because its venom, and a black wash.... because is Venom. I Hope you guys all like.
