This figure has been on my do to list for a very long time, so it was great to have this contest to give me the extra push to finally make it.

The figure started out as a Marvel Legends Dr. Doom, as many others on the Realm have done for the Clone/ Storm Troopers. I sanded down most of the body and sculpted the armor.
After that I did the basic black and white paint job and then added a grey wash to help the details of the armor pop. I wanted it to look as though this was something that had been worn into battle, so I painted some scuffs and blaster marks then did a few washes on the legs to look like dirt and mud. Then the whole body was sealed.
The robes were made out of a brown t-shirt, with two thumb tacks painted white as the pieces that connect the cape to the body robe. The belt was made from a modified bandolier from a Marvel Legends Longshot.
The head was made from an Angel figure from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, sanded down and then sculpted hair and beard. I had broken the neck peg years ago on Doom and so the head is held on using magnets, still allowing for a full range of motion.
The lightsaber was made out of stir stick that I sanded down then sculpted and painted the hilt.
The base is from a DC Direct Justice figure, repainted with various browns, including a texture paint to give a further impression of dirt.

All in all I am very happy with the figure. I have been wanting to make 6-inch scale Star Wars figures for some time, so now that I have one finished I will have to keep making some more.
I appreciated any comments and criticisms, hope you all like it.

I've seen this on the Realm a few times, but I never noticed that you used a Dr. Doom for the base. You've done some seamless work here. I may actually have a use for my Doom now rather than dust collecting!
