Showcasing another Gears of war custom figure creation of mine.

I present you with "Bennett Daily".

A veteran Cog and my 1st ever Gears of war custom figure.

Recipe

Very simple custom to create.

I used the body from a Marcus Fenix series 1 and the head from a WWE Scott Steiner figure.

Some ammo packs, pouches and a frag grenade (with packaging wiring) from various other Gears of war figures and some sticky tape to create the cross on Daily's left chest plate.

This figure although very easy to put together is 1 of my favourite customs and i feel fits in perfectly with the gears of war neca line and the G.O.W universe.

Bennett Daily

Occupation: Cog
Age: 35
Height: 5'11
Squad : Zulu Squad

Experience

Daily has been a gear since The Pendulum Wars and in that conflict between man he served for 10 years before retiring 8 months before Emergence day. It was in this 1 year of retirement that Daily met and married his wife, Lucille. Sadly his happiness wouldn't last as Lucille was murdered on Emergence day when a squad of Locust brutally attacked and wiped out his entire town.

Daily had been out visiting an old gear veteran pal of his whom he served with in the Pendulum wars, when he had received news of attacks. Daily along with his friend raced back to his home town to find an overwhelmed and out numbered beat down squad of gears battling several squads of Locusts in a desperate fire fight.

Daily and friend instantly joined in and aided the gears in the fight. With Daily and his friends help, they and the cog squad, were able to force the invading Locust to retreat back into there holes from which they came, before wiping most of them out.

After the battle Daily rushed home to find his house covered in flames and his wife and dog butchered. Most of this once peaceful and quite town along with its inhabitants had been completely destroyed.

With such terrible events that had taken place, Daily saw no other option and instantly returned to the Cog in order to help defeat the devastating Locust.

Daily is currently serving in his old squad, name of Zulu. Daily although frustrated and sick of the war with the Locust, always remains calm, professional and has a very friendly understanding attitude, Saving his anger for battle field.

Skills

Daily has the full experience any front-line gear of 15 years service would be expected to have.
He is especially formidable when wielding 2 snub pistols and is an excellent aim with a long shot sniper rifle. All round bad ass soldier who more times than not, gets the job done.

Health

Daily has a bad case of rust lung and fears he is dying slowly from it. He like so many other Gears who were present at the Light Mass bombing at Timgad.

Nationality

Jacinto born of white heritage.

Hobbies and pleasures

Daily occasionally writes in his mini diary he carries with him.

Daily enjoys a good smoke and an alcoholic beverage. He also appreciates a good novel when he can find 1 and once even risked his life by venturing of to a wretch infested library just for something to read.

Faults

Daily seems to keep quite alot bottled up inside of him for he isnt a big fan of showing his emotional side.

Frustrations

Daily gets highly vexed and quickly irate when he sees experienced gears picking on the rookies in a spiteful way. He is known for sticking up for the rookies and once was punished for head butting a superior officer for bullying. Lucky for Daily he has favour and respect from his fellow and superior officers. Decorated officers like Colonel Hoffman, who is a good friend and supporter of Bennett, or he would have suffered graver consequences for his out burst.
