Rat King (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Custom Action Figure
Hey Custom Compadres! I'm almost done with my vintage TMNT collection. This was an easy one, I saw the Marvel Legends Steve Rodgers and instantly thought "Rat king". With some grinding with dremmel I took off his boots and holsters and then did the scuplting. The rats were my first attempt at animals and I feel they are ok. I couldn't however figure out how to get a potato sack like texture on the sweater. I may go back and add some grime with dry brushing but for now I enjoy his original toy like appearance. Edit: Just went back and read your description. It'd be a lot more work, but a way you could achieve the texture you're after for his shirt would be to put a thin layer of sculpt over his torso, and press gauss into it. Thats always a good way to get a burlap-y look.
