Grendel-Simon Bisley Inspired

This was sent as a Secret Santa gift. I'm sure it got there on time. Unfortunately, my Secret Santa did not deliver on time, so hopefully it gets here soon. About 2 weeks after the contest was announced and I joined...I put my hand through a window and severed my right hand's thumb tendon. So after much surgery, pain and strife, I worked on this every weekend for half a day for 2 months...using my left hand!

Glad I was able to finish. The recipient requested Grendel, so I picked my favorite version of him and went to work, my sculpting abilities were limited due to my injury. But I sculpted the upper part of cape to modify, and reworked his knives into the blade seen on the cover there. Used an airbrush to lay down the many layers and mixes of blues. Sealed with purity sealant. I hope I did right by him...

Wow! I'm just now seeing this and brother, am I impressed. The fact that you did this with your off-hand and finished on time all the while recovering from surgery is laudable in itself. Add to that the fact that it came out this freakin' EPIC, and you got yourself a little X-Mas miracle. Well done brother. Well done. You've truly inspired me.
