I swear I remember reading an issue back in those days where he fought Cap, but given that was the late 1980's it's highly possible I'm just mixing things up--especially as he was originally an agent of SHIELD and has almost the same powers as Cap (another failed serum attempt). Heck, somebody needs to draw that fight if it didn't happen!
