***UPDATED PICS*** The lighting was a bit off for the images submitted the first time.. I am EXHAUSTED!!! But thank goodness I am done. This little guy took three weeks of my life. I could not do anything else but finish him as this Venom was more of an itch. :) It started when I thought I had the right parts to pull off an Flash Thompson Venom. I even bought a GI Joe figure for the vest, which I decided not to use anyway, Sheesh. I took a look at a lot of different Agent Venom images and saw certain aspects that I like from each rendition. I took the GI Joe vest and did a trial fit, and said, I'll just do a little sculpt and see if it fills in the gaps here and there. And what I ended up with was a FULL on sculpt marathon. I was in for a battle as this was my second attempt at sculpting, well, pretty much anything. My first sculpting attempt was Warpath's Gloves and Bracers. I kid you not, I sculpted the 1. FLAK VEST (front and back) - the portion on the mouth was a challenge 2. some FACIAL FEATURES- I've seen some images of Agent Venom where you could see some of the facial features being a bit more obvious. 3. Articulated Shoulder Shields (A.S.S.) :) - they move with the shoulders and allow him articulation. 4. Bracers and Shin Guards and THIGH ARMOR - I added some spikes to the rest of the figure as well, it's like the symbiote is just waiting for Flash to loose control. 5. And yes, I sculpted the WEB-SHOOTERS too :) Accessories - I used magnets for his 357 Magnum holster and the belt is also removable via magnets. - the knee pads are also removable - kept them "normal" as I wanted them to retain the "tactical feel" - magnets for the .45 holster. Paints are a mix of metallic black, flat black, a mix of engine gray and gloss black applied via brush. WHEW!! I need a break. my hands and back were literally aching after every session spent with this custom. I wanted to add more accessories and details but I was really tired. :( Maybe next time. I hope you guys like him as much as I (ughh) enjoyed making him. Comments are always very welcome. Glory to God and have a meaningful holiday season. Cheers. ![]() |

I'm still learning in terms of sculpting.
I'm sure your agent venom is going to turn out great, the character is such an interesting design.
Can't wait to see your version dude
Very NICE.
I had Kneadite tape sitting around for nearly two years in my toolbox before I gave it a go a couple of months back.
I say you go ahead and give it a try,
Until I can make another one, I might be holding onto this one. I am planning on adding more accessoriea to this one when the time permits.
I am humbled
I got another question master, about that shoulder pad armor...
-using what materials?
-if it reduces the movement of shoulder articulation?
(sory for my bad english, I need to learn something from the master..
I don't consider myself a master yet as I am still learning.
Now about your questions,
A. I used some iron man shoulders and some epoxy
B. it doesn't really limit the articulation, but you'll have to move the shoulder pad and the shoulder joint when you are trying to pose him.
Selamat Pagi
Cheers
Your work in this scale has also inspired me
I actually got the new Marvel Select Agent Venom. I was trying to copy some of the elements but I went off in a different direction as I was working on this Marvel Universe version.
Again, thanks a bunch
I was going for more accessories and details but I was literally exhausted. And it was just too involving that I am now rushing decorations for Christmas
