Paid this guy $180 to make a commissioned piece. Was very friendly and sent WIP pictures, and promised to send the completed figure by Halloween '15, then nothing. Hasn't replied to emails since, contact has ended completely. Fair warning about this artist. Avoid him.

This is absolutely beautiful, a real work of art.
I'm not trying to start any trouble or anything but another reason I find this custom so eye-catching is because I created something very similar, I have two red-eared sliders (this specific breed of turtle) and thought it would make a perfect Raph.
Like I say, not starting trouble just pointing out it's a great when you see minds on a similar wavelength. I made the rest of the turtles and a few other things too. I'd post a link but it's a facebook page which is a no-no but google "not just zombies" on facebook and you can see some pics. They're not custom figures as they've never been figures, just wire frames and fimo

Eh I have to say I don't like it. Not because it looks bad. Because the work done makes him look very realistic. Its just he doesn't look Ninja Turtle like to me. At the very best he looks like he would be the old master training new ninjas. Good work but not my slice of pie I guess.

Well slap that piece of pie onto my plate because I love taking the TMNT concept and giving it a different look especially a more realistic tone. It's sort of like Batman, you can create a different style but each time still know who the character is. Again great job on this piece!

It is ok if you don't like him because it is not your style. But this competition is not just about to clone it from the cartoon, it can be creative. I am glad that still have lots of people like him and voted. Thanks for your comment anyway.

Wow! Spectacular Teenage Mutant Ninja Terrapin! Not only well crafted but biologically and physiologically sound to boot. That is if you take for granted that a mutant anthropomorphic terrapin can exist (which I do ). Top marks from me.
