Ozon Veros is a Sinestro Corps member who has killed millions. But that was before he ever received his Qwardian Power Ring. He is responsible for creating the Veros Plague of Crucis II. And he created it for one sole purpose, to kill. Unfortunately he contracted the disease himself. Although he managed to survive he suffers from respiratory issues. His helmet and backpack offer safety to others who are around him as well as helping him breathe. A Qwardian Power Ring selected him as a member of the Sinestro Corps.

Crucis II is a quarantined planet and is patrolled by a team of Green Lanterns constantly. Any Green Lantern guarding this planet has orders to destroy whoever or whatever may attempt to leave its atmosphere. As a member of the Sinestro Corps, Veros was able to escape the quarantine zone. However, he didn't make it far and was soon captured by Hale Arago of the Green Lantern Honor Guard. Hale encased Ozon in a sterile bubble of green energy and transported him to Oa for trial and imprisonment. He currently resides in solitary confinement in a sciencell on Oa.


Veros Plague Fact: Named after its creator, the Veros Plague is a contagious, most often fatal epidemic disease transmitted from person to person. Initial symptoms of phase one include fever, chills, and fatigue. Phase two follows with extreme muscle pain, greening and death of tissue all over the body. Phase three progresses rapidly with difficulty breathing, possible respiratory failure, and is fatal 90% of the time. At the peak of its outbreak, it killed 10,000 people a week. It is possible to survive the Veros Plague if you make it through phase three. However, even after surviving it you remain a carrier. Those who do survive the plague are destined to live out their lives on this disease ridden world.


Base Figure: DCUC Maash/Low
Head: DCUC Captain Boomerang with plenty of dremel work to remove his hat and facial hair. Repaint was to give him an alien look. Green dry brush effect over the dark red was to give him a look of plague.
Helmet: DCUC Green Lantern Naut Ke Loi helmet. I felt if he had a plague he might need something to wear to keep from giving it to everyone. A hole for the hose was made in the back using my dremel. It doesn't sit as tightly on this custom as it does with Naut Ke Loi but I figured it doesn't matter since i'm not playing with him.
Backpack: DCUC Steppenwolf Super Powers Red backpack. Some minor alterations were made. Like the cutting off of spikes. I also had to rig up a new peg to hook it to this custom's back. I had to dremel a hole in his back to connect it to as well.
Hands: DCUC Maash hands painted black to give the look of gloves.
